A note from Debi:
I’m so proud of each and every one of you who attended these championships. You were amazing.
Some of you just stepped up to the plate , swung and hit it out of the park. While that might look easy, the pressure and mental stamina it takes to do that for 4 days in a row is no easy task. I’m so proud of you!
Some of you had a crash and burn course along the way and clawed your way back up to the podium. That takes a special kind of grit that many people can not muster up. You never gave up and it paid off. I’m amazed and impressed by your determination and mettle.
As a group of people you both won and lost with grace and if you know me at all you know how much I respect that.
I’m honored to know you all and there is not one person who did not have a great moment during the week. I know this because each of you either wrote about that moment (’s) on FB or private texts.
Congratulations to each of you! NADAC Championships knew you were there.

Harvey Milk placed 3rd in the Elite Large Division, with Paula Goss and Kellan taking 1st. Amazingly, in 2019 we were both in the Pre-Elite large division and finished in the same spots (different 2nd place dog)–Paula and Kellan took 1st and we took 3rd. Very fun and a big honor to be on the podium with one of my teachers, two champs in a row!
In the Elite Division team competition, our team Reba’s Harem took 3rd place. The team was me and Harvey Milk, Clay Batchelor and Knox (Harvey’s big brother–same parents, different litter), and Kate Green and her amazing cattle dog Reba. Reba flirts with both brothers and they flirt back, so that’s how we got the name. There are 2 photos, a “casual” one and the podium photo showing another PZ team taking 1st.
The training I have received from Debi, Terry and Paula have allowed for any successes we have had at Champs. I am so grateful for the support, knowledge and friendship I have received from all the members of PAWZAZZ. When I was first starting in agility I came to a trial put on by the club and meet Debi. Watching her run, I knew I wanted to be a part of this group. Slate is the third dog I have trained under the guidance of PAWZAZZ. He was second in his division in 2019 at age three and first in 2021. In 2013 my second agility dog was Pebbles. She was third in her division at CHAMPS in 2013 at age three and she was also third in her division in 2017, and won her division in 2019. I cannot thank this wonderful group of trainers enough for everything they have done for me over the years. If you are looking for a place to train, you have found it!
