The Pawzazz trial this weekend was a big hit, bringing in dozens of handlers and their pups. The rain mostly held off, yielding to moderately cool fall weather that energized everyone. The barn at HogDog Productions in Millersville MD was groomed nightly and competitors leaned in to volunteer, which kept the classes flowing quickly.
Special thanks to the phenomenal photographic talent Ken Briefel (who is excellent in the ring as well!) If you want to see more of Ken’s shots from the trial, visit his complete album.

I had the honor to both judge this trial and run my dogs. It was an awesome trial. I enjoyed watch so many great runs from the newer handlers and dogs as well as the elite handler and dogs. Thanks for letting me be able to run my own dogs (like that new rule with NADAC during these covid times) and for Tom judged me for all of my runs but one which Clay did. Tom also was a great course builder and had lots of help setting those courses quickly. Thanks also to everyone who helped make this trial run so smooth. Thanks also to Debi and Terry who ran a great trial even with heavy hearts. PZers rock in so many ways.
The trial was awesome. The courses were fun and challenging with everyone cheering for runs well ran and for great tries. Love the Pawzazz people.
Thank you everyone! What a great couple of days. Gertie and I learned so much, had fun and felt so loved. Pawzazz is so special!
PZ stepped up as always this weekend. Even though the trial was small we all came together as we always do. Jean was a great Judge and the courses were put together nicely. it was great to see new dogs doing so well! The best was seeing Debi running again. XXOO
Such a fun weekend! Jean, our judge, did a great job and designed some really nice courses. Everyone was having a great time. It was my first time running since August and it was great to be back!!!
Thanks so much to Debi and Teri for a fun trial. This was Koda’s first NADAC trial but it won’t be his last. Looking forward to learning more distance skills from our wonderful instructor.
